Interior Brands: Copper Styling with Amara Living
One of the great things about writing an interiors blog is being able to work with interior brands that you genuinely love. Amara Living is one of those brands. Whether it's perusing their website for incredible Tom Dixon lights, swooning over EVERYTHING Jonathan Adler or lusting after every Pols Potten stool going, it's fair to say there are a lot of items on my Amara Living wishlist.
So when they recently asked me whether I'd like to work with them on a copper themed post, styling up some of their amazing copper accessories in our home, let's just say I rather excitedly said YES!
As I'm sure you know from our house, I love a bit of copper. My home office has copper wallpaper, copper accessories and even a metallic copper painted wall (you can read about my home office makeover here) and our dining room sums up my 'eclectic, modern, retro' style perfectly, mixing old and new furniture and accessories with tropical wallpaper and hints of copper throughout. I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to shiny things and I think this is why I'm drawn to the new metallic trend so much. Like leopard print, copper is a bit of a neutral for me.
Choosing my favourite copper homeware items from Amara Living was pretty easy, with so many gorgeous items to choose from, and I've put together a moodboard of the items I chose below, where I've also mixed in a few other metallic pieces.
They're pretty cool aren't they? My absolute favourite item has to be the Kartell clock, as I love the retro 1960's style and it fits into our dining room just perfectly. Scroll down to see how I styled up the items in our home.
Showing you two ways to use this delightful Pols Potten stool. Or you could just buy two?! (any excuse...)
It's as if pink and copper were made for one another!
I love copper barware - it really does set off a home bar or bar cart and give it an expensive feel.
Copper is a neutral for me - it works with anything. Even the pattern clashing in our living room!
My favourite item - this classic retro inspired Kartell clock.
You can see more images over on the Amara Living website and shop the look there if you want to create a similar style in your own home.
I'd love to know which is your favourite item so feel free to comment below!
