Decor Crush: Elizabeth Scarlett
Elizabeth Scarlett's homeware is VERY up Dotty Dishes street. With tropical homewares that are adorned with palm trees, pineapples and jungle leaves, her creations are pretty much made for our home! I am pleased to say I own one of her beautiful Palmier cushions, which fits perfectly in our coral pink and grey bedroom and I definitely have more cushions and some of her pretty pillowcases on my wish list.

I first came across Elizabeth Scarlett's products on Instagram, which I always find is a great source for discovering new homeware outlets. Of course, it was love at first sight and it was only a matter of time until I owned something from her gorgeous range!
Along with cushions, bedding and candles, Elizabeth Scarlett also sells pouches, bags and fabric journals so you can be tropical inspired on the go aswell as at home. All the designs are hand painted and each piece of the collection is limited and pays homage to founder Elizabeth Scarlett Elsey's textile background and love of travel.
I was very excited to interview Elizabeth about what inspires her work, how she got to where she is today and of course, ask her about her favourite Dining, Destination and Decor spots!
1. How would you define your style?
Soft, wild, eco-femininity using fashionable fabrics.
2. What inspires your work?
The power of colour, compassion and the natural world.
3. How did you get to where you are today?
Since I was little, I painted everything. Even my walls, which was a nightmare for my Mum! I try to find the beauty in everything.
After a foundation year at Central St Martin’s, I dived into a business degree before turning my hand to fashion merchandising, design and sales. With experience under my belt, I was quick to pick up my paintbrushes to create the first Elizabeth Scarlett Collection in 2015.
With a small team supporting my every move, I run point on all things business and design. Early on, I partnered with an established manufacturer and supplier to help with scale and cash flow to support high growth.
4. What new projects do you have coming up?
I’m sewing my love of all things wild into the heart of my brand. My Turtle Power Pouch has so far raised 5k for Marine conservation and we will be doing another run very soon. Later on this year, we will be launching a beauty collaboration with Birchbox and a wellness collaboration with Amara.
5. Who or what is your décor crush?
I get a lot of my inspiration through instagram. At the moment I’m loving anything @iamLauraJackson posts about décor and interiors. (Us too!)
We’re all about Dining, Destinations, Décor so what’s your…
· Favourite Dining Spot?
